Sonogram
I had a sonogram this afternoon, and everything checks out. My amniotic fluid level is really good, I'm just gonna have a small baby. According to the measurements the tech took, she weighs 4lbs. 10oz. right now. She said that we're hoping in the next few weeks Chloe can make it to at least 6lbs. My next appointment is on Monday, so I'll update then. A big thanks to all of those who prayed for us and a positive result!

Easy as 1 2 3... literally
There's lots to tell this week! First of all, I'm 35 weeks pregnant. Chloe is working on putting on weight, and will be until she comes.
Second of all, I had my baby shower on Saturday! It was so much fun! A big thank you to Becca and Erin (even though she couldn't be there) for working so hard on it! We got lots of great gifts! Here's a few pictures:
The table at the entrance. The pink panther was Kris' favorite toy as a kid, and that's my baby book and a shadow box with my first Bible and first pair of gloves.
Cup cakes! yummy
My diaper cake my mom made! It was sooo cute!
Me wearing my "mom to be" sash
Me and Addie watching every one play the game.
Kris got a present too from his friend Ben. It was a bunch of candy for the hospital!
Isn't that cute! It's a diaper bag with Chloe's name on it from our good friends Dave, Marla, and Addie!
This one was rather large... as you can see.
My favorite sports related outfit...
...and Kris' favorite.
Thirdly, I had a doctor appt. today. I found out I'm 3cm dilated already! I was expecting to be dilated just because of how low she is, but I was not expecting to be THAT dilated!
I have to have a sonogram done tomorrow. When the doctor went to measure my uterus, I was having a contraction (don't worry, just braxton hicks), so she had to wait because with the contraction the uterus shrinks a bit. After the contraction, I was still measuring small, so she wants to make sure that's not because she's not progressing or because of low fluid or something. Alright, I think that's everything, I'll post an update tomorrow after the sonogram.

6, count em, 6 weeks to go
Today marks the beginning of my 34th week of pregnancy. I have 6 weeks until my due date and 3 weeks until I'll be considered full term (37 weeks). I had a doctor appointment on Monday and got a good report. I've gained a total of 30 pounds so far! Dr. Lemberger is pretty sure Chloe is head down, but is gonna do an exam, as well as my Strep B test, at my next appointment to make sure. She also commented on how low her head felt. In the last week or so its been very visible of how much she's dropped. Dr. Lemberger joked how "she knows where the exit is, that's for sure". I don't think I'm gonna make it to my due date. I also think she's gonna weigh around a high 6lbs- a low 7lbs. If we're gonna be exact, my official guess is 6lbs 13oz. Right now, Chloe is about 4.75 lbs and 18 inches long.
An quick update on my ribs is my Dr. says its nothing to worry about. She's actually surprised that it's just the left side that's sore. She also says it's not Chloe pushing on my ribs because my uterus doesn't go up that high, but it's my uterus pushing everything else into them. So basically my body is just running out of room.
My baby shower is next weekend and I'm getting so excited! I'll have to post pictures afterwards.

33 weeks
Though it feels like Chloe is a heck of a lot more, she's just over 4 lbs. now! Her bones (with the exception of her skull) are hardening and she's filling out with baby fat.
Ok, so in my post last week I told you I thought Chloe had bruised my ribs in some way. While at the time I didn't think there was anything other than bruised ribs that could cause that much pain, I now don't think she did. I think that if she actually had bruised them, I would've been in intense pain like that for longer than just that one day. The pain hasn't been anything near how bad it was last Friday, they're just sore all the time now, and it seems to be worse when I'm wearing a bra. I see my doctor on Monday, so I plan on talking to her about it and seeing what she thinks.
The reality of what's about to happen is really starting to sink in. I realized the other day that I've got a month (4 weeks!) until I'll be considered full term! I feel SO unprepared. Her nursery isn't ready, there's still a lot of clothes, sheets, and blankets that need to be washed, the list could probably go on and on. I guess I better get to work!
