Ok, so a couple of days ago I posted that you all would get to vote on which food Chloe would try next. After NO ONE posting their vote by yesterday afternoon I made it my facebook status and it would have been a tie, BUT the last couple votes came in too late and were not counted. Because of that chain of events, Kris and I ended up having to vote too, and the winner was...
GREEN BEANS.
She had a whole spoon full on her chin at one point.
After a few bites her face was pretty much like this the whole time. "More please... More please... More please... MOM!"
She loved it.
This one was so hard to do because of how the green beans were on her chin in the picture. Definitely not my favorite one I've done.

What should be next???
Tonight was Chloe last night of squash (for now). She liked them a lot. I still think she liked the carrots the most so far. Next are GREEN VEGETABLES, and I have decided to give you, yes YOU, the choice of which one she should try first! GREEN BEANS or PEAS? Comment your vote and I'll post pictures of her eating the one with the most votes.
Chloe is getting to be so much fun! I love being her mom! She's rolling all the time now, she loves to talk to you and herself, and she loves rolling while talking. She says ba ba ba and aaaahhh and she'll go mum mum mum while she whining or crying about something sometimes. I no she's not saying mama, but I like to pretend she is. The latest letter she's learned to say is Eeeeeeeee, and she does raspberries ALL the time. Its SO CUTE!!

Squish, SQUASH!
Chloe tried squash tonight. Unfortunately Kris wasn't home to take pictures while I was feeding her, and my camera batteries were dead, so I couldn't take them myself. She seemed to like it. Over the last few days she's LOVED her carrots though. I think they've been her favorite so far. After we give her the squash for a few days we can move on to green vegetables then fruits!
So...since I don't have any food pictures to post... Here's some others that I've photoshopped recently.
Pumpkin Patch
This one isn't my favorite and didn't turn out exactly how I wanted, but it's still kinda cool.
This is the most recent one I did (like, just before I posted this). Its the lyrics to Jesus Loves the Little Children.

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, to the Pumpkin Patch we go
We went to the pumpkin patch today! Chloe was kinda sleepy and it was cold and windy, so we didn't get many smiles out of her, but it was still fun and there was a lot for her to look at and enjoy.
Kris called her our little pumpkin monkey.
She wasn't sure what to think of all the animals at the little petting zoo they had.
Two feet tall!
At home with her baby pumpkin. Each year we plan to get her a pumpkin, one a little bigger than the last year.
"Look mommy! A bigger one!"
Chloe and her pumpkins. The bigger one is for carving along with mine and Kris' pumpkins we carve every year.
There are more pictures on Kris' facebook.

Rolling, 'Swimming', and Carrot Eating
Chloe learned to LOVE sweet potatoes after about a day! The next orange vegetable on our list: Carrots. That's what we tried tonight, and as you can see below, she enjoyed!
"More please!"
Still one of my favorite things to do is play on photoshop. I'll have to post some pictures I've played with on her at a later date.
Chloe has finally started rolling over again. But its from her back to her belly instead of the other way around, and she can't get back over once she's rolled over onto her belly. Anyway, she loves to roll onto her belly, raise her arms and legs up, and attempt to go somewhere. It's quite the sight!
"Look mommy! Watch me swim!"

sweet sweet sweet... POTATOES
Chloe had sweet potatoes for the first time tonight. She wasn't too sure about them, but it was also like that with the rice cereal the first time, so I'm sure she'll like them after a few days.
"Oatmeal, oatmeal. Same old oatmeal."
"Oh, wait... that's not what I thought it was going to be!"
"I'm not so sure about this stuff, dad."
Playing on photoshop is my new favorite thing to do... if you couldn't tell by the doctored pictures I've been posting.

5 Months Old
Chloe turns 5 months old today! Because mommy likes to follow all the "rules" and the doctor says after she's been on cereal for about a month she can move onto vegetables, Chloe will have her first taste of her orange vegetables tonight. Our choices are between Sweet Potato, Carrots, and Squash I believe. We'll probably go with sweet potatoes first because that's daddy's favorite (the only vegetable he'll eat). How it works is we try one vegetable at a time, each one a few times before moving on to the next to better detect any allergies she may have. I'll post pictures later and let you know how she liked it!
Chloe found her feet and now they are her new favorite toy!
She sure loves her daddy!
My sweet, blue eyed baby :-)

Sittin' Pretty
Chloe just had her 4 month check up yesterday (my how time flies). She weighed in 14 lbs. 7 ounces and is 24.5 inches long. She got 4 shots AND an oral vaccine. She handled probably better than I did though. I was worried cause last time she got shots she had a binky and it still took a while for her to calm down. But this time she was fine as soon as I was able to pick her up... until we put her in the car seat of course.
Dr. Beck says once she's been on rice cereal for about a month she can start her orange vegetables, then green, then fruits, so we're pretty excited for that! The next time we go the store I want to get her some oatmeal to see how she likes that.
We've been working on sitting up, and she will for a few seconds by supporting herself with her arms. Here's a picture of the first time she did it. It's dark because I took it with my phone and unless there's a ton of light in the room, the pictures turn out dark.
I tried fixing it a little on photoshop, but I have no idea what I'm doing and Kris wasn't here to fix it for me. But it does look better than it did to begin with, so it works.
