busy busy busy

Well as the title told you, we've been busy, busy, busy around here. Chloe has been growing like a weed (a very pretty weed). She's grabbing at things a lot more now, occasionally with two hands, and really getting expressive about what she wants and her likes and dislikes. She started doing raspberries by herself over the weekend and it's sooo funny! Taking away her binky (sticking with it) was one of the best decisions I've made. She does suck and chew on her fingers and thumb now, but that was inevitable, and she's not at the age where she can understand the word "no" and why we wouldn't want her to do that, so I guess we'll tackle that habit when the time comes. She been sleeping completely through the night ever since we took it away about 3 weeks ago. She's also answering to her name now, so she's learning and growing a ton.
Chloe and I visited my grandparents over the holiday weekend. We missed daddy VERY much, but we had a good time.
Chloe has been adjusting to going to work with me and loves her best friend Addie! We've also been going to bow parties, playing at the Independence Center, and all kind of things. Here's a few pictures of lately:

Mommy was having a little fun...

Some pretty bows Nahni got us at the bow party!

At the playground at the Center. She was sooo fascinated by all the kids running around. We're definitely gonna have to go back sometime.

Ok, here's a something I've been pondering... Chloe will be 4 months on Saturday and I know at 4 months you can start them on rice cereal and veggies and fruits then, but her 4 months doc appointment isn't until way later in the month. Can I go ahead and try her on the rice cereal or should I wait until we go to the doctor?

I can't get over how gorgeous she is!! I told Kris the other day (well, actually I told Mike to tell Kris :D) that she is seriously one of the prettiest babies I have ever seen in my life!

I always started my kids on rice cereal at 4 months and they never had a problem with it. I think I may have started a couple of them even earlier than that. I don't think it would be a problem to start her.

I love her little bows!! They're SO adorable!! That's the main thing I'm gonna miss about having another boy, but oh well...maybe I can find some really awesome hats or something. :)
