Ok ya'll I know it's been a while since I last posted. So here are a few snap shots of what's been going on in the Savage family duplex.
Chloe just hanging out in daddy's guitar case
She loves music and loves to dance. I've said it before, but her favorite song is the theme to The Office.
Chloe reading her favorite book. It's called Guess Who Farm Friends, but we call it Peekaboo Animals. She developed this over night obsession with this book. She loves to pull down the flaps to reveal the animals. The last page is a pop up with all the animals and so far she's beheaded the horse and the sheep and pulled a "Peter" on the cow's ear.
Here she is getting mad at me for taking a picture and not reading the book to her. I'm telling you, she's obsessed.
It's your lucky day people. Not only do you get snap shots, you TWO videos as well.
This is mommy having a little, tiny bit of fun giving Chloe a taste of her strawberry Popsicle. She hates cold food. If food is very cold at all she gives this face like it's the worst, most sour thing she's ever had in her life. Even if it's something she likes, she won't eat it if it's very cold.
She knows what a monkey says now, but lately if you ask her, she just starts panting like a dog. She started doing that after I tried to teach her what a dog does. Now she does it for every animal noise.....
She also knows where her nose, mouth, and ears are, but she likes to point to yours instead.
Speaking of pointing, she points at EVERYTHING now, and if you ask her how old she's gonna be, she hold up her finger to say 1. She's so cute.
Well, hope you all enjoyed. Have a nice day. It's supposed to be gorgeous this week!

53 days to E day
We had Chloe's eye appointment today and the appointment went well. The ophthalmologist confirmed that she does in fact have a blocked tear duct, or tear duct obstruction as he called it, and said the best coarse of action would be a procedure to clear the obstruction. He wants to wait a little while to give her eye a little extra time to clear up on it's own. But we have the surgery scheduled for Monday May 3rd.
According to the ophthalmologist she would be put under via mask anesthetic and the procedure is done in about 5-10 minutes. As soon as she wakes up, we get to take her home. There aren't stitches or a ton of recovery time or over night stays to deal with. Hearing all of that put my mind at ease about the thought of my daughter having surgery.
Well, I don't have any pictures for this post, but I wanted to post the info for ya'll. It saves me from having to repeat myself a million times...
I'll end saying, my God is good and has a plan for me and my family. A plan for good and not disaster. Jeremiah 29:11 (I paraphrased a little)

¡EYE aye aye!
Chloe is standing on her own a little now. This picture was taken a couple weeks ago so she's much more stable now. Sometimes we can even set her down after holding her and she'll stay standing. She's become quite the little daredevil.
We've made and appointment to get her eye looked at. The only available time they had for the next two weeks was this Thursday. Of course the only other day I have to work this week, but thank goodness I work for such awesome people that are willing to be flexible. Thanks Dave and Marla!
I really hope they fix it, and don't make us put it off until she's 1. I don't know if it was a receptionist or nurse that answered the phone, but when she asked how old Chloe was, she warned me they may not fix it until she's 1. I'm so hoping that's not the case. Our pediatrician told us to wait until she was 9 months, so having to wait longer would so not be ideal. Her eyelashes are always matted and full of gunk, her eye is always so teary, and she hates when I try to clean it. I just want to get it taken care of. I'll update again after her appointment.
